By downloading, installing, accessing, or using SpeakTask, you accept these Terms and agree to follow all applicable laws and regulations while using the app.
2) License
UM Business grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use SpeakTask on compatible Android devices for personal or internal business use.
SpeakTask is offered as a one-time paid download through Google Play. Google Play handles the purchase before installation. The app does not sell in-app products or subscriptions.
3) Acceptable Use
- You must not use the app for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
- You must not tamper with app binaries or bypass security, except where applicable law preserves rights to reverse engineer for interoperability or another lawful purpose.
- You must not use automation to generate abusive traffic or manipulate app services.
- You must not introduce malware or attempt unauthorized access to any app feature or service.
4) User Obligations
- You are responsible for lawful use and all tasks you create through the app.
- Keep your device secure; you are responsible for local task visibility and access.
- If your tasks contain sensitive personal information, you are responsible for reviewing and deleting that information as needed.
5) IP Ownership
All software, interface elements, and underlying technology in SpeakTask belong to UM Business, except for embedded third-party software governed by its respective licenses. You retain ownership of your own content entered in the app.
6) Third-Party Services
SpeakTask uses Android’s document picker and optional system speech-recognition service. Those third-party platform services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Automatic Android backup and phone-to-phone transfer are disabled, so export a backup before clearing app storage, uninstalling, or changing devices.
7) Termination
UM Business may update or stop distributing future versions. This local release has no account or remote access control, so UM Business cannot remotely disable an installed copy. Your license ends if you materially breach these Terms, subject to any notice or remedy required by law.
8) Disclaimer and Liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UM BUSINESS EXCLUDES IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS. NOTHING HERE EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITS MANDATORY CONSUMER GUARANTEES, DIGITAL-CONTENT REMEDIES, REFUNDS, OR OTHER STATUTORY RIGHTS.
9) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without depriving you of mandatory protections in the country where you live. EU, UK, and other consumers keep all non-waivable consumer rights and any right to bring a claim in their local courts.
